Being a delivery driver can be a difficult job, as most people tend to lose patience shortly after placing an order. That’s why TGI Fridays has decided to give drivers something special. The Dallas based restaurant chain recently announced delivery drivers can get free food all day Thursday, as long as they know the secret password.
TGI Fridays may deal with food delivery drivers on a regular basis, but they know all drivers dropping off products are the “unsung heroes.” All day Thursday, deliver drivers of all kind, FedEx, UPS, truck drivers, post office employees, Uber Eats drivers and more will receive a free appetizer of their choice from the restaurant. All they will need to do is say the password, “I work in the delivery business” and have the credentials to prove it.
Luckily there are multiple locations throughout DFW, with seven in North Texas and five more located inside DFW International Airport. According to Dallas Morning News, Drivers can select; loaded potato skins, green bean fries, Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, pretzels, chips and salsa, pot stickers, or spinach and artichoke dip. Hopefully now they won’t have to steal a bite after picking up an order.
