DC Comics fans have been patiently waiting for the release of ‘The Flash’ for years now. One of the most highly anticipated films of the year is now only a few weeks away from its premiere, but fans in DFW may want to wait just a little bit longer to see the film. That’s because next month ‘The Flash in Concert’ will premiere in Dallas, as a screening of the film will be shown with a live symphony accompanying it.
On July 31, ‘The Flash in Concert’ will premiere at The Music Hall at Fair Park with the Dallas Pops performing the film’s score. According to WFAA, this is the third "DC in Concert" film, as live symphony orchestras have also performed the score for ‘Batman in Concert’ and ‘The Batman in Concert.’ “We are as excited as the fans are to see 'The Flash' hit screens June 16 and we can’t wait to bring the film to the concert hall in July for a live concert experience," said Stephen Cook, President of TCG Entertainment.
Tickets for ‘The Flash in Concert’ go on sale June 9. For those that can’t wait until July, the film without the live concert premieres June 16. Hopefully the live musical score only makes the film better.
