This past Saturday marked the opening of Velocity, a new motorsports-themed entertainment venue that combines dining, cocktails, and racing simulators.
According to Dallas Innovates, Velocity offers “an authentic, professional-grade driving experience in a sleek, automotive-themed lounge with three unique racing zones.”
The venue features 30 racing simulators, as well as a full kitchen and bar offering tacos, seafood, sandwiches, and desserts.
Viet Tran, founder of Velocity, said in a statement, “Velocity is all about building community through a shared passion for cars and racing.
“The simulators will bring people through the doors, but it’s everything around them that makes them stay.”
Velocity | Sim Racing Lounge is located at 9830 N. Central Expressway, Suite 400, and will be open Monday through Thursday from noon to 11 p.m.; Fridays from noon to midnight; Saturdays from 11 a.m. to midnight; and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
