The people who regularly watch game shows from home are usually the first to claim they could answer all the questions correctly, even when the pressure is on. Luckily for fans of ‘The Price is Right’ they may soon have the chance to put their theory to the test, as the iconic game show recently announced they will be going on a nationwide tour. The “Come On Down Tour” will make 50 stops during their coast to coast trip, including a visit to North Texas on April 7.

In celebration of the show’s 50th season, ‘The Price is Right’ recently announced plans to travel around the country, giving fans the chance to experience the show without going to their Los Angeles studio. “It’s kind of an exciting way for us to take something that’s really an important part of CBS' legacy and do something new and fresh with it,” said president and chief marketing officer at CBS, Mike Benson. Contestants will have their shot at a grand prize of $50,000, play games such as Plinko and competing in a Showcase Showdown.

According to NBC DFW, the game will travel in a customized trailer that includes the game show's famous wheel. Each stop on the tour will celebrate local goods and specialties, giving each visit its own style. Soon fans will get to prove they truly know the price of every item, just like they do at home.
