Texas is full of great food, but when it comes to tacos the Lone Star state takes it to a new level. The dish has become a staple for restaurants, food trucks and even gas stations all throughout the state. That’s why when Yelp recently released their list of the 100 best taco restaurants in America; no one was surprised that Texas popped up all throughout the list, with three coming from DFW.
Tacos have become one of the most popular dishes throughout the United States, with every state claiming to have at least one taco spot that can compete with the best. Now, Yelp has helped give 100 restaurants across America some taco bragging rights. According to CW33, DFW restaurants Taqueria Nuevo Leon in Carrollton, Tranky’s Tacos in Garland and Mami Coco in Dallas all made the list of the 100 best taco restaurants in America.
Overall, Texas had 14 restaurants on the list. Some of the other restaurants include Flavia’s Kitchen in Austin, Tacos Dona Lena in Houston, Sangria On The Burg in San Antonio and Fish Company Taco in Galveston. This list clearly helps prove Texas is the best place for tacos of the US.
