One of DFW’s favorite spots to grab some food and drinks while listening to live music is finally open in Fort Worth. Three years after announcing the new location, Truck Yard has officially opened at Alliance Town Center. Separating this location from the rest, the dog- and kid-friendly beer garden even includes a Ferris wheel.
On Monday, Truck Yard’s Fort Worth location officially opened, featuring yard games, lawn chairs, fire pits, a Ferris wheel, and a rotation of food trucks. According to Fort Worth Star Telegram, the new location has no TVs, as they hope to create a more personal space. “Truck Yard is for disconnecting from technology and reconnecting with your friends, family or that first date. We have purposefully taken away TV distraction to facilitate the telling of that old story or creating a new one,” reads their website.

The Fort Worth location will be open from 11 A.M. to 12 A.M. Sunday through Thursday and 11 A.M. to 2 A.M. Friday and Saturday. Truck Yard already has locations in Dallas, The Colony and Houston. Now Fort Worth will get to see what all the fuss is about.
