Summer is rapidly approaching, so no doubt a lot of people are getting into shape to look their best while parading around in a swimsuit on the beach.
Believe it or not though, there are a couple of beaches in Texas where you can go ahead and leave that swimsuit at home.
Two beaches in the Lone Star State recently made the list of the “Top 12 nude beaches” in the U.S.!
According to Hotels.com, Hippie Hollow near Austin and UFO Beach on South Padre Island are two of the best nude beaches in the nation, though Texas has SIX nude beaches for you to enjoy!
There’s also Emerald Lake Resort in Porter, Barton Springs Pool Beach in Austin, Bolivar/McFaddin Nude Beach in Sabine Pass, and Padre Island National Seashore in Corpus Christi.
And in case you’re worried about the law, evidently nude beaches are legal in Texas. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, in Texas, the indecent exposure law states that nudity is only judged as indecent if you expose your genitals to another “for the purpose of sexually arousing them.”
