Earlier this week, high-end olive oil producer CHO America issued a statement that their warehouse in Houston had recently been the victim of a robbery.
They put out a request that people be on the lookout for their products, which isn't just any ol' olive oil.
According to Chron, the thieves made off with some premium olive oil valued at $2.5 million!
CHO America says that 18 truckloads full of 290 pallets, each containing 672 bottles of premium Terra Delyssa olive oil, were stolen from the warehouse, in a crime that echoes a similar theft in Montreal, Canada that happened late last month.
Terra Delyssa olive oil retails for about $20 a bottle.
Houston police are investigating the incident, but CHO America is asking store owners and consumers to stay vigilant and call in any suspiciously cheap offers.
