Love can make people do crazy things. At least that’s the excuse one man is using after breaking into the Dallas Museum of Art this week and destroying over $5 million worth of art. After the man was arrested he claimed he caused the damage because he "got mad at his girl."
Police were called to the Dallas Museum of Art Wednesday night after a man broke in by smashing the glass front entrance with a metal chair. Security guards at the museum spotted the man after motion sensors went off, according to NBC DFW. When security asked the man what he was doing, he said "he got mad at his girl so he broke in and started destroying property."

The man intentionally damaged or destroyed $5,153,000 worth of artwork including several pots and statues. Sadly some of the pieces he destroyed were irreplaceable. At least he got a break from his girl while in jail.
