It’s never late to go back to school.  The only problem is, what subject is interesting enough for you to want to continue your upper education career?

Well if you like to enjoy a nice, frosty beverage at the end of the day, we may have a course just for you!

The University of Texas at Arlington is offering an online program in the science of brewing beer!

Students will be put through four courses: the Science of Brewing; Fermentation Science; a Brewing Lab; and Sensory Evaluation and Product Design.

According to UTA, the goal of this program is “to provide participants with both foundational knowledge about the science of fermentation and brewing, as well as hands-on and practical experience a brew lab.”

According to the Dallas Morning News, the program is open to those 21 or older even if they’re not enrolled at the university.

“It’s this attempt to bridge education with industry,” said Dylan Parks, an assistant professor of instruction in UTA’s biology department and the head of the certificate program.
