It seems every week there is a game show contestant that goes viral for failing to correctly answer a question many in the audience feel is easy. However, the internet seems to be taking it easy on the most recent viral game show contestant, as many were shocked they missed the answer as well. The ‘Wheel of Fortune’ contestant failed to correctly fill in the blanks for the lyrics to the Eurythmics’ song ‘Sweet Dreams,’ though many are shocked they’ve been singing the lyrics wrong for years.
Earlier this week, ‘Wheel of Fortune’ contestant Chris Bryant was attempting to solve a “song lyrics” puzzle when things went horribly wrong. The puzzle was supposed to read, “Sweet dreams are made of this,” though Bryant said “sweet dreams are made of these” missing out on the prize. Many viewers were stunned as they too thought the correct lyric said “these,” as it sounds Annie Lennox sings in the song.

Sadly for Bryant he was stuck with a puzzle for a song once voted one of the songs with the most commonly mispronounced lyrics. Luckily, it wasn’t all bad for Bryant, as he still advanced to the bonus round where he won $26,405 in prizes, according to Yahoo. Next time he hears ‘Sweet Dreams,’ he definitely won’t get the lyrics wrong.
