As most game show contestants will say; it’s much easier answering the questions from home than when actually on the show. Still, one ‘Wheel of Fortune’ contestant may want to come up with a new excuse when explaining how she got a seemingly simple answer wrong. The contestant went viral recently after failing to solve a David Bowie themed puzzle stunning viewers at home and online.
As seen in the now viral clip, contestant Jacquelyn attempted to fill in a puzzle that should have read “Under Pressure by Queen and David Bowie.” While she got the majority of the puzzle correct, Jacquelyn struggled to come up with David Bowie’s name, instead saying “David Louie.” Many online were stunned the contestant struggled to name the iconic musician.
According to Outsider, this episode first aired in November 2020, but the moment is just now going viral. While most were in disbelief from the answer, others defended Jacquelyn’s lack of music knowledge. Hopefully the next category was something more in her wheelhouse.
