The ground has broken on White Castle’s first location in Texas, with the restaurant at Grandscape in The Colony planning to open later this fall.
The chain already has its sights set on its second location in the Lone Star State and have announced it will be opening in Funky Town.
The restaurant will open at the Shops at Chisholm Trail Ranch, which is southwest of downtown Fort Worth, near Benbrook and Crowley.
It is unclear how many restaurants in Texas White Castle plans to open, but they see Texas as a big opportunity for the brand.
Chief Marketing Officer Jamie Richardson told the Dallas Morning News, “We see Texas as a big opportunity in general, and in this moment, our focus remains on the greater D-FW area.”
Fort Worth’s White Castle plans to begin construction in 2027.
