Everyone who has ever purchased a lottery ticket has had the thought cross their mind that they are about to become rich. Luckily for one person who recent purchased a lottery ticket in Irving, that dream is about to become a reality. Only problem is, the person has no idea they won as the prize is still yet to be claimed.
Lotto Texas held a drawing on June 25 that delivered a $7.25 million to someone, but the winner is yet to come forward. According to CW33, the ticket was purchased in Irving and the buyer selected the cash value option at the time of purchase, so they will receive $4,632,166.56 before taxes. Now, whoever purchased the ticket has 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize.
"If you have the winning ticket, we encourage you to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place, seek financial and legal advice, and call the Texas Lottery to schedule an appointment to claim the prize," said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery. Hopefully the prize is claimed soon, or else someone will be living a life full of regret.
