When it was first announced Zac Efron would portray DFW legend Kevin Von Erich for an upcoming film about the Von Erich wrestling family, fans weren’t sure how Efron would pull off the bulking look. Now, the first images of Efron as Von Erich have been released and fans are shocked to say the least.
Earlier this week, photos were taken of Zac Efron in Louisiana on set of the upcoming film, ‘The Iron Claw.’ In the photos, Efron can be seen wearing a towel, showing off his body transformation and new hairdo. The photos quickly spread online; with many wrestling fans saying they couldn’t believe the actors new look.
According to People, ‘The Iron Claw’ also stars Lily James, Jeremy Allen White, Maura Tierney and Harris Dickinson. No release date for the film has been announced at this time. However, thanks to these photos wrestling fans are definitely hoping the film comes sooner rather than later.
