If you’re envisioning two mustached besties BFFs4L when you hear the names Daryl Hall and John Oates, sorry to say this, but think again, well kinda. Only one of them had a mustache, and they aren't always the best of friends.

As many die-hard fans might already know, the duo known as Hall & Oates have broken up and reunited several times throughout their career. And despite that when together their awesome combined power has garnered them eight platinum records, and six number one hits — the two often have often gone years without playing or recording together.

Aside from music, and who can forget those hometown HoagieNation concerts they headlined in 2017, 2018 and 2021, some other things they did as a pair included suing their own publisher in 2008, as well as a granola company back in 2015 for selling Haulin’ Oats.

But as it seems, suing isn’t saved to only be a group activity. Despite the many years of being an on-off musical duo, Hall and Oates are also business partners, and the most recent business development between the two includes Hall suing Oates.

For those curious to know more — the complaint was filed in Nashville chancery court just last week, on November 16, and remains classified as a “contract/debt” matter and under seal. So long story short, we have no idea what the suit is about, but we’ll let you know if we hear anything. We're "Looking For A Good Sign," but use "Your Imagination."
