Coronavirus Test

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Allegheny County Health Department has announced an additional 15 of COVID-19 in Allegheny County, seven more  than Monday, bringing the total number of confirmed and probable cases to 1,526.

That number includes 1,451 confirmed cases with 75 probable.


Four additional people have died from coronavirus bringing the total in the county to 127 dead.

The ages of those who have died range from 42-103 with 84 being the median age.

To date, there have been 280 hospitalizations, past or present, six more compared to Monday.

Age breakdown:

00-04 – 4 (less than 1%)05-12 – 5 (less than 1%)13-18 – 13 (1%)19-24 – 103 (7%)25-49 – 515 (34%)50-64 – 435 (29%)65 + -- 451 (30%)The gender of those with COVID-19 are listed below:Female – 819 (54%)Male – 707 (46%)Male – 704 (47%)

 Gov. Tom Wolf announced that Allegheny County, along with 12 other surrounding counties will be moving into the yellow phase of reopening on May 15, 2020.

According to data from the PA Department of Health, 19,699 people have tested negative for coronavirus.
