Pennsylvania's unemployment rate dropped for the month of August.
The Department of Labor & Industry said the rate fell more than two percentage points from July to 10.3%.
However, when compared to August of 2019, the rate is up nearly 6%.
According to the department, the state's non-farm jobs increased by 59,500 from July to 5,577,900 in August.
The national unemployment rate also dropped from by 1.8% in July to 8.4% in August.
