A disagreement at a Pennsylvania baby shower about gifts resulted in three people being shot, according to local authorities.

Police in Lower Burrell, a small city 30 minutes northeast of Pittsburgh, responded to a call of an active shooting. The police arrived at the location, just after 6 p.m. and said they located the suspected shooter and put him into custody as he exited the firehall where the shower was being held.
They went on to share that it was not "an active shooter situation but rather an isolated family incident during a baby shower," according to a press release.
The report said that preliminary investigation showed a family argument started and quickly turned physical.
The report went on to say, "the suspect introduced a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, firing off rounds which resulted in a 23-year-old male, a 19-year-old female, and a 16-year-old male sustaining gunshot wounds."
The victims were taken to nearby hospitals, and their injuries are currently unknown.
Police said they believe the argument started over presents given at the shower. Still, they shared via Facebook that the investigation is ongoing in conjunction with the Westmoreland County Detective Bureau.
The name of the suspect has not been released, but he is expected to be arraigned soon. He was in a city jail Saturday evening.
