Prep work starts Monday on a two-year project to pave and improve Ardmore Boulevard in Forest Hills.
The work zone begins from the Wilkinsburg interchange with the Parkway East to Yost Boulevard.
According to PennDOT, single-lane restrictions start Monday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, around 32,000 motorists use Ardmore Blvd daily; many going to the Parkway East from North Versailles and North Huntingdon.
