This week, I’m talking with the ladies that helped me get my hands dirty (literally) along with many others in the Pittsburgh area during the pandemic.
The Soil Sisters, Raynise and TaRay Kelly, Beltzhoover residents, have made a name for themselves by teaching countless, curious and clueless people who figured they should take up a new hobby during this COVID crisis. (My mother and I are 2 of them.)
From hosting pop up gardening supply giveaways to teaching kids how to start their own gardens during Summer Camp this year, the Soil Sisters are on their way to becoming the new faces of horticulture in Pittsburgh.
