Your Spine is Important, Show it Some Love with These 3 Simple At-Home Moves!

Today’s average posture and lifestyle lead to the average person's spine being locked into one position for long periods of time like sitting and sleeping. Those positions usually aren’t “optimal”. Shoutout to the laborers who are dealing with a different set of positions and outside forces leading to a different set of issues.

Regardless of which camp you fall into, today’s #FridayFlow is made up of 3 different moves that can benefit your spine in 3 different ways. I explain more in the video:

These positions are meant to feel GOOD, not painful. The movements are meant to be slow, smooth, and mindful.

This is meant to help alleviate tightness. Whether you feel like that would be beneficial first thing in the morning, after a long day at work, before bed, or at the gym before or after your main workout, you’re probably right.

It can be used in a lot of ways. It can be broken down into the individual movements if that’s better for you.

All that said, it’s not meant to deal with medical issues. If you’re in serious pain, go see a doctor. (The odds of that are low, as these are low-risk exercises, but the spine is so important I figured I’d mention it.)
