Changes Coming To COVID-19 Testing Sites In Dallas County

DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- Some changes are coming to COVID-19 testing in Dallas County.   

Starting Saturday, anyone who lives in the county, and is at least five years old can get a test, even if they don't have any symptoms.

In addition, first responders, DART drivers, healthcare workers, Dallas city and county employees and some other essential workers who work in the county can get a test with a work ID -- even if they don't live in the county.

The testing will be available at all county test sites, drive-thru and walk-up, as well as at Parkland Hospital’s community-based clinics.

Kids under 18 are encouraged to get tested at Ellis Davis or one of the walk-up sites.
