MARSHALL (1080 KRLD) - Trisha George now faces five years in prison for trying to hire someone to kill her husband.
Last July, Marshall police received a tip about this. So, police reached out to the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigation Division for help in the case.
Marshall police found out she paid someone who turned out to be an undercover officer to commit the crime. Her husband asked for leniency in her case. He asked that she receive probation.
The state disagreed.
