Sprouts Farmers Market is opening a new store in the Kessler Park neighborhood of Dallas this Friday, bringing fresh, healthy food options to North Oak Cliff.
The store, located at 1322 N. Hampton Road, will open to the public at 7 a.m. on Friday, June 20, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:45 a.m. The new location is the result of several years of collaboration between city leaders, developers, and the community.
“This new grocery store will provide critical healthy food options to thousands of North Oak Cliff residents while creating good jobs,” said Dallas City Council Member Chad West.
Sprouts is planning a full weekend of grand opening events from June 20 through June 22. Guests can enjoy live music, product giveaways, and a pop-up tasting bar featuring seasonal produce. The “Vendor Village” inside the store will offer product samples from featured brands, and families can take part in contests like “guess the weight” of oversized produce.
The first 200 shoppers on both Friday and Saturday will receive a free reusable goodie bag filled with samples, and the first 400 guests on Friday will get a long-stem rose, courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral.
Shoppers can get 20% off their purchase during grand opening weekend by texting KESS to 777-688 and scanning their Sprouts app barcode at checkout (limit one discount per day, up to $20). Guests can also enter to win a $500 Sprouts gift card through midnight on June 22 at sprouts.com/kesslerpark.
Sprouts says the Kessler Park location will feature local produce from Texas farms including Chip Berry Produce, Dixondale Farms, and Fredericksburg Peach Company. Through its Food Rescue program, the store will donate edible but unsellable groceries to the North Texas Food Bank.
The store will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
