PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — This weekend on The KYW To-Do List: Lace up your sneakers and get outside this weekend. Take a sunset hike along trails in the Wissahickon, walk through Longwood Gardens’ wintertime setup or go on a Phillycentric walking food tour.

EVENT: Silent Sunset Cruise

DATE/TIME: Sunday, 3:30 p.m.

WHERE: Meet at The Cedars House, 200 W. Northwestern Ave., Chestnut Hill

DETAILS: Join a quiet and moderately paced 2.5 mile hike through the Wissahickon as the sun sets and a new week begins. Remember to wear a mask and proper footwear.

PRICE: Free with registration

EVENT: Winter Wonder

DATE/TIME: Begins on Saturday

WHERE: Longwood Gardens, 1001 Longwood Rd., Kennett Square

DETAILS: It may be winter, but the Conservatory at Longwood Gardens has plenty of orchids, African violets and chains-of-glory in bloom. Live performances will also be back, and visitors on Sunday can hear Philadelphia organist Andrew Senn perform.

PRICE: Included with admission; kids are $13, adults are $25

EVENT: Indoor Mini Golf

DATE/TIME: Opens on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

WHERE: Linvilla Orchard, 137 W. Knowlton Rd., Media

DETAILS: Created by the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, this 18-hole miniature golf course also educates you on important environmental issues. Some topics include the rainforest, dinosaur extinction and evolution.

PRICE: $7 per person

EVENT: Flavors of Philly Food Tour

DATE/TIME: Tours Friday through Sunday, times vary

WHERE: Meet at Liberty Place, 1601 Chestnut St., Center City

DETAILS: Eat your way through Philadelphia on this five stop tour that includes cheeseteaks, cheese wiz fries, tomato pies, a trip to Reading Terminal market and more. Remember to wear a mask and you will also be required to show proof of vaccination when entering the eateries.

EVENT: The Philly Youth “Selfie Project”

DATE/TIME: Saturday,  noon to 2 p.m.

WHERE: Germantown ArtHaus, 6228 Germantown Ave., Germantown

DETAILS: Open to ages seven and up, this Germantown ArtHaus event brings together local artists with children, tweens and teens to create selfie portraits. After the portrait’s completion, each will be installed on the east facing wall of the building.

EVENT: Lunacy Brewing Company 7th Anniversary Party

DATE/TIME: Saturday, 1 to 10 p.m.

WHERE: Lunacy Brewing Company, 1500 Kings Highway Haddon Heights, New Jersey

DETAILS: Celebrate Lunacy Brewing Company’s 7th anniversary with new brews on tap, live music and giveaways.

EVENT: Dobbs on South Grand Opening Party

DATE/TIME: Doors open at 8 p.m.

WHERE: Dobbs on South, 304 South St., Queen Village

DETAILS: The legendary South Street music venue that cultivated young talent is hosting a grand reopening featuring Philadelphia country band “Shot of Southern.” Upstairs there will be a DJ, darts and a pool table.

EVENT: Deconstructing Bowie: Freedom in Eccentricity

DATE/TIME: Through April 3

WHERE: National Liberty Museum, 321 Chestnut St., Old City

DETAILS: In partnership with Philly Loves Bowie Week, 70 different works of art from 38 international artists are taking people on an adventure that’s everything Bowie. All the artwork will be for sale, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
