A sweet and loving dog named Script Writer is searching for a forever home through LifeLine Animal Project and DeKalb County Animal Services.

At 2 years old and weighing 95 pounds, Script Writer may be a big dog, but shelter volunteers say she has an equally big heart. With her adorable wrinkled brows and expressive face, this gentle giant quickly captures the attention of everyone she comes across.
Script Writer is described as curious, friendly and great on a leash. Volunteers say she is gentle when accepting treats and already knows the command “sit,” with the possibility of knowing even more. She especially enjoys hot dog treats and spending time with people.
During a recent visit with volunteers, Script Writer showed off her playful and affectionate personality. She was described as wiggly, cuddly and happy to go from person to person looking for pets, attention and treats.
Script Writer has also enjoyed interacting with other dogs and is hoping to find a family who will give her the love, patience and care she deserves.
She has been waiting for her forever home since April 10, 2026, and shelter staff believe she could make a wonderful companion for the right family.
Potential adopters can meet Script Writer at DeKalb County Animal Services, located at 3280 Chamblee Dunwoody Road in Chamblee. No appointment is necessary to visit the shelter and meet adoptable pets.
In addition to Script Writer, hundreds of dogs and cats are currently available for adoption through DeKalb County Animal Services.
