John Clayton has some good news and some bad news for Dolphins fans.

The good news:
Clayton believes the Miami Dolphins, currently with an 8-4 record, will make the playoffs.

The bad news:
According to the NFL writer, the Dolphins will be a playoff team mostly because they are a team benefiting off of the NFL’s easiest schedule.

“They’re 6-1 against teams with losing records, so they’ve only won two games against winning teams.”

Ten win, Clayton believes, will be enough for Flores’ Dolphins to secure a spot in the playoffs and he thinks the schedule is “easy enough” the rest of the way that Miami will get there.

As for the Dolphins winning their first playoff game since 2000? More bad news.
“I think it is going to be really tough to win a playoff game because unless you’re playing in the NFC East, you’re not playing losing teams.”
