An Alabama teenager is dead after suffering a brain injury during a high school football game. 16 year old Caden Tellier suffered a severe brain injury while playing QB for Morgan Academy in their season opener, this past Friday night.
Tellier was taken from the field to the hospital, where he later died. Dr. Bryan Oliver, Headmaster at Morgan Academy said of Tellier "He was a student, friend, athlete and most importantly a Christ follower".
Morgan Academy has decided to suspend all activities this week. Tellier was an organ donor so even in his death, he's helping bring life to others, which is family and friends say is exactly the kind of person that he was.
