An Asheville native and pro wrestling star has been arrested in Florida. The Orlando Sentinel reports that 36 year old, Daniel Marshall Wheeler better known as "Cash" Wheeler was booked Friday morning, on a charged of aggravated assault with a firearm.
The arrest warrant filed in Late July, accuses Wheeler of flashing a gun during a road rage incident. On August 3rd, Wheeler entered a plea of not guilty via his attorney .The charge is a 3rd degree felony in Florida.
Wheeler is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling. He's one half of the AEW Tag Team Champions "FTR" alongside his tag partner "Dax Harwood", another North Carolina native.
Prior to the two signing with AEW, they wrestled as a team called "the Revival" for WWE from 2014 to 2020.
