(670 The Score) Bears star pass rusher Khalil Mack is dealing with another injury, this time a shoulder issue.

Mack missed the Bears' practice Wednesday, and his status is considered to be day-to-day, coach Matt Nagy said. Chicago (5-7) hosts Houston (4-8) on Sunday at Soldier Field.

Mack missed practice due to a back issue last week but did play in the Bears' loss to the Lions on Sunday. He has 6.5 sacks this season but none since Nov. 1.

Elsewhere on the injury front, Bears nickel cornerback Buster Skrine was placed into the concussion protocol and didn't practice. Linebacker James Vaughters remains sidelined with a knee issue. Receiver Darnell Mooney was out due to personal reasons. Tight end Jimmy Graham, defensive tackle Akiem Hicks and linebacker Danny Trevathan were held out for veteran rest days.

Receiver Allen Robinson (knee), tackle Charles Leno (toe) and tight end J.P. Holtz (shoulder/knee) were limited in practice.
