Three head coaches have been hired in the NFL in the last 24 hours, but Atlanta’s choice and New York’s pick brought an angel/devil vibe to today’s Moment of the Day!
Our man Sal Licata is a huge Falcons fan, and just interviewed Mike Smith on the coaching carousel Thursday (check our social media for more!), and Gio thought his mind was going to be blown by the hiring of the “Artie Party”…and not in a good way, sez Jerry.
“Al spent a lot of time researching Arthur Smith and found nothing,” Jerry said, which led Mr. Hughes to snark: “I could not find a pic of him where he did not look like a dullard!”
As for Robert Saleh, though? Al was ALL IN.
“Ooh, we’re gonna have good luck, I just spotted a bald man!” Al mocked. “Come over here and let me rub your head for luck!”
Perhaps Al could’ve used a fellow follically challenged friend for his parlays…
