A legend of the boxing world is set to hold an event in the Upstate next week in an effort to bring out the roughest and toughest the area has to offer.

The Roughest And Toughest Brawl is what is termed "an off the street amateur boxing" event similar to tough man competitions. Eric "Butterbean" Esch is a former multiple time Amateur Boxing World Champion, a former Pro Boxer and MMA Fighter.

He is presenting the Brawl at the Market At The Mill Event Center in Pickens, SC March 8th and 9th. The event is for amateurs, not trained fighters, but average everyday people who are fighting it out for a chance to prove themselves and win cash.

The Brawl feature multiple Men's weight classes and a Women's division and possible weight classes, to be determined. For more info or tickets visit https://theroughestandtoughestbrawl.com/

Butterbean spoke with me in an exclusive interview about the event, the start of his fighting career, fighting former Heavyweight Champ Larry Holmes, appearing on Wrestlemania, a possible comeback and more. He also revealed who he is looking at as an opponent in his one last fight. You can hear the full interview below.
