There have been questions swirling this offseason if the Braves have done enough to contend this season. After the Los Angeles Dodgers spend the offseason spending at a record pace, the Braves remained relatively quiet. General Manager Alex Anthopoulos remains one of the best in the sport but he has not made the usual number of offseason moves we've become used to seeing.
Audacy MLB Insider Rob Bradford joined Dukes & Bell Friday and says that despite making few moves in the offseason so far the Braves are still a top team in the sport. The potency of the lineup and the starting rotations remains a strong point for the team, however, health and consistency have become issues in recent seasons. Bradford is hopeful both of those key cogs turn up aces for the Braves in 2025.
The path to winning the NL East won't be easy for the Braves as both the Mets and Phillies will once again be contenders. But the team will be bolstered by the return of Spencer Strider and Ronald Acuña Jr. and if those players play up to their standard could be the difference this season.
