Braves pacing towards 'another historic season'
“I think they’re legit,”. That was the immediate response from 92-9 The Game’s Mike Bell as he shared his thoughts on the Atlanta Braves’ season to the this point after they reached 40 wins over the weekend, becoming the first team to do so in the 2026 season.
“Now all of a sudden, you have some things coming together,” Bell continued as he highlighted the performance of Ronald Acuna Jr. over the weekend as he hit five home runs in four games, at least in in their last four games, including a grand slam in their series finale against the Red Sox.
“He gives you a big power surge,” Bell said of Acuna Jr.’s five home runs, describing it as “kind of historic” and adding the Braves “still haven’t played your best baseball and you have 40 wins and you’re having a historic season by franchise history,” Bell said of the Braves who reached 40 wins before June 1 for the first time in the club’s history.Scary to think Braves 'haven;t played their best baseball'
