
After finishing with the NFL's worst record in 2023, the Carolina Panthers are looking for their 7 player class from this year's NFL draft to make an impact. The Panthers used their first two picks to add potential weapons to the offense for year number two if the Bryce Young era at QB.
Carolina took Gamecock WR Xavier Leggette after trading for the final pick of the 1st round. Carolina spent their 2nd round choice on Texas RB Jonathan Brooks. They then took LB Trevin Wallace of Kentucky. In the 4th, they went back to the Texas talent pool to take Longhorn TE Ja'Tavion Sanders.
The Panthers spent their 5th, 6th and 7th round picks on trying to add depth to each level of the defense. In the 5th they took Washington DB Chau Smith-Wade. They took Defensive Tackle Jaden Crumedy in the 6th and LB Michael Barrett from the Michigan National Title team.
