A Clemson Alumnus has set a new record and captured Olympic gold in Paris. Roje Stona was a 3 time All American athlete at Clemson. He has now captured the Gold Medal in the Men's Discuss Throw.
He set a new Olympic record with a throw of 70 meters. Stona also holds the Discuss record at Clemson. Stona is competing for Jamaica and the win makes him Jamaica's 1st ever Gold Medalist in the event.
