
Clemson held serve at home cruising past Florida Atlantic 48-14 under the lights in Death Valley, Saturday night.
The Tigers got off to a fast start scoring 3 times in the 1st quarter. The Tigers got a pick-6 from Nate Wiggins to strike 1st they added 2 more touchdowns to lead 20-0 after the 1st quarter.
Clemson scored on two more drives in the 2nd to lead 34-0 at the half. It was 41-0 after three, as the Tigers added a touchdown drive in the 3rd. Florida Atlantic scored twice in the 4th and Clemson added one more score to make the final margin.
Greenville High product Tyler Brown had 2 TD catches for the Tigers. Clemson was plus three in turnover margin on the night.
Clemson now faces its toughest challenge of the season thus far, as they welcome Florida State to Death Valley Saturday for a showdown at high noon.
