Clemson Football Coach Dabo Swinney has went to the past to try and improve the program's present and future.

Swinney has hired Chad Morris as Offensive Coordinator after firing Garrett Riley following Clemson's Bowl game loss to Penn State.

Morris previously served as Offensive Coordinator in Tiger Town from 2011 through 2014. He also had stints as a Head Coach at SMU and Arkansas.

Morris also served as an assistant coach at Auburn after those stints as a head coach. Clemson was 41-11 during his 1st tenure. The offenses at Clemson averaged over 35 points and 450 total yards of offense per game under Morris.

The Board of Trustees finalized the hire, Monday morning.
