Clemson turns turnovers into points in 31-14 win at Syracuse

Needing a win to keep hope alive in the ACC title race, Clemson downed Syracuse inside the Carrier Dome, over the weekend.

The Tigers got a 31-14 road win at Syracuse on Saturday. Clemson led 14-7 at the end of the 1st quarter, after scoring a TD on a short field, set up by a Syracuse turnover. The Tigers were plus 2 in turnover margin and scored 21 points off of Syracuse miscues.

QB Cade Klubnik was 23 of 37 passing for 263 yards and 2 TD's. Greenville High product Tyler Brown had 8 catches for 151 yards. Will Shipley and Phil Mafah both had TD runs.

Clemson is now 3-2 on the season and 1-2 in ACC play. They are back in action Saturday hosting Wake Forest for a 3:30 PM kickoff from Death Valley.
