The most prominent college football pregame show on television is set to emanate from Charlotte, Labor Day weekend. ESPN has announced that College Gameday will be in the Queen City for the "Battle Of The Carolinas" between the Gamecocks and the Tar Heels, Saturday September 2nd.
Gameday will broadcast from Bearden Park in Uptown Charlotte, just a few blocks from Bank Of America Stadium. The game is set for a 7:30 PM kickoff and will be nationally televised in primetime on ABC.
It'll mark the 6th time the two programs have met since 2007. South Carolina has won 4 of the last 5 in the series, but the two teams split the two most recent meetings.
