If you're looking for a heartwarming story to get you into the holiday spirit, here's a good one.

Bruins winger David Pastrnak has made good use of the 2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid he won for being named MVP of the 2020 NHL All-Star Game, donating it to Tufts Medical Center nurse Kaitlin Hagstrom.

In a press release, the Bruins say that Pastrnak "wanted to show his gratitude for the many frontline healthcare heroes who are selflessly devoting themselves to battling this virus" and began working with the Bruins, the NHL and Honda to identify an individual he felt was deserving of the gift.

Hagstrom has been working on the front lines, providing emergency care for patients battling COVID-19. She was identified by her colleagues as "someone who has calmly and consistently risen to the occasion and is a steadfast beacon of hope that reassures not only her patients but also her peers."

In a video shared by the Bruins (which you can watch at the top of this post or in the tweet below), Pastrnak highlights Hagstrom being a single mother, noting that he was raised by a single mother himself. In addition to the car, Hagstrom's four-year-old son Shaun, who is just beginning to learn to skate, received brand new hockey equipment as part of the surprise.
