
As high expectations surround Furman Basketball to start this season, they delivered in their season opening win, Monday night. Despite shooting just 3 of 21 from three point range on the night, Furman scored 42 in each half of their 84-68 win over North Greenville.
The Paladins had three players in double figures, Marcus Foster led the way with 18. Cooper Bowser had a baker's dozen and Wake Forest transfer Carter Whitt added 10.
Former Berea High standout Savion Brown had a team high 18 for North Greenville.
Furman is back in action Friday night hosting Belmont for a 7PM tipoff. The game will air as a special presentation on Classic Rock 101.1 FM.
