
Furman Basketball dropped their 3rd straight overall and second consecutive SoCon game over the weekend. The Paladins fell at perennial conference contender Chattanooga 73-58, on Saturday.
Furman was outscored 23-8 in the last 13 minutes of the half. That helped Chattanooga take a 43-20 lead into the break. Furman shot just 4 of 33 from three-point range and made just 28% of their total shots.
Chattanooga shot 48% overall and they dominated the transition game with a 29-14 advantage in fast break points. JP Pegues led Furman with 16, Alex Williams added 15. Chattanooga had five players in double figures.
