
Furman Basketball will look to shake off a loss in their regular season finale at Timmons Arena over the weekend. Furman trailed 34-29 to Mercer at the half and fell 82-75 on Saturday. The Paladin loss gives the Bears a sweep in the season series.
Furman dropped three of their four games to close the regular season. The Paladins will try and get things moving in the right direction in the postseason. Furman will begin their SoCon Tournament Title defense later this week vs Western Carolina.
The two teams split a pair of regular season meetings with the Paladins taking the 1st matchup on January 20th in Greenville. Western Carolina then took game two last week when Furman in Cullowhee.
The rubber match between the two is set for an 830 tip off Saturday night at the Ingles SoCon Men's Tournament in Asheville.
