Clemson Basketball couldn't overcome the shooting difference in their 93-90 double overtime home loss to Georgia Tech, Tuesday night. GA Tech shot it well hitting 15 three's in the game. They made over 40% from deep, Clemson shot just 3 of 21 from three point range.
It was a back and forth affair all night and the game would go to the 1st overtime tied at 71. In the first extra frame, Georgia Tech took a three point lead with under a minute left.
Clemson got a put back bucket from Ian Schieffelin and one of two free throws from PJ Hall to tie it. Hall would later miss on a 3 point try to win it at the buzzer and the game went to a 2nd OT tied at 82.
In the 2nd OT, Naithan George made a three with less than a minute left to put GA Tech up 91-88. The Tigers would get two free throws from Schieffelin with 4 seconds left to cut the lead to 1 at 91-90. Kyle Sturdivant then hit a pair of free throws to seal the 93-90 win for the Jackets.
Naithan George led Georgia Tech with a team high 20, three others were in double figures. Clemson's PJ Hall had season highs with 31 points and 17 boards. Schieffelin had another double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds.
