South Carolina Football has had its issues in the past against Tennessee. The Gamecocks had a losing streak vs the Vols that spanned from 1992 until 2004. After they broke that streak, they have been able to win 8 games in the series. However, in recent years they have had struggles on "Rocky Top", dropping three of the last four there.

South Carolina sits at 3-2, but is still winless in SEC play. Tennessee is 3-2 on the season, their two losses are to a surprisingly good Pitt team and on the road at Florida. However, the Vols are coming off their most complete game of the year as they routed Mizzou 62-24. The Gamecocks and Vols will kick at noon Saturday inside Neyland Stadium
