
The Greenville Drive rallied to win their home opener over Asheville last Tuesday night. A near sell out crowd of just over 6,000 people were at Fluor Field Tuesday night, as the Drive downed the Asheville Tourists, the single A affiliate of the Houston Astros.
Greenville scored two in the 3rd to lead 2-0 after three. Asheville got one in the 4th and four in the 5th, Greenville scratched one across in the 5th and trailed 5-3 after 5 innings. The Drive rallied for four in the 6th and held Asheville scoreless after the 5th to win 7-5.
The two teams meet again Wednesday night with 1st pitch scheduled at 7:05 PM. The Drive are at home the rest of the week hosting the Tourists in a 6 game series. Saturday night's game will serve as the celebration of Jackie Robinson Day at Fluor Field.
