Huge 2nd half propels Gamecocks to 47-6 win over Vandy

South Carolina used a 34-6 2nd half scoring advantage in their 47-6 win over Vanderbilt, Saturday in Columbia. The Gamecocks led 13-0 at the half, they held Vanderbilt to just 234 total yards.

SC rolled up nearly 500 yards of total offense. QB Spencer Rattler was 28 of 36 passing for 351 yards and 3 TD's and a pick. Mario Anderson had just over a 100 yards rushing and a score on just 9 carries. Xavier Leggette had 9 catches for 120 yards.

Gamecock LB Bam Martin Scott had 13 tackles to lead the defense he also had a sack and broke up a pass. The Gamecock defense had 8 total pass break ups on the day.

South Carolina is now 4-6 on the season. They will host Kentucky Saturday night in Columbia for a 730 PM kick.
