(SportsRadio 610) -- J.J. Watt and Deshaun Watson were captured leaving the field together at NRG Stadium after another crushing loss to end their 4-12 season.
2020 was mostly a waste for the Texans. A waste for Watt, playing all 16 games in his 10th season after battling injuries in the past. And a waste for Watson, who in his fourth season took his game to a new level.
Watt was captured by NFL Films apologizing to Watson for the wasted year.
It's possible Watt and Watson played their final game as teammates. Watt has no more guarantees left on his contract. He is due a $17.5 million nonguaranteed base salary in 2021.
So the next general manager will have to decide whether to restructure Watt's deal, or consider trading or cutting him.
